School holidays are for having fun and making memories and Edinburgh Academy are out to ensure children have the best time getting creative and being adventurous. They offer a range of multi-activity holiday camps for children 5-12 years old and you can book for as little as half a day (8am-12.45pm), to a single day (8am-6pm) or a full week, Monday to Friday. So, what can we tell you about them? The camps are set up by Access EA which was created by Edinburgh Academy to make their facilities accessible to everyone. Think of them as a bridge between the Academy family and the wider community - they take all the best things about the Academy (historic spaces, fantastic state-of-the art sporting facilities, wonderful grounds in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town and knowledgeable staff) and make them work for you. You can even hire spaces for private events and celebrations.
During the holidays, every day is different and there are three elements of camp at their venues on Arboretum Road and Henderson Row: Sports & Activities, Arts & Crafts and Outdoor Play. Kids can play tennis, hockey, mini golf and many more sports. They can also get creative and take part in arts and craft activities, treasure hunts, board games and team games. Sounds pretty good, right?
