From a mountain of unwanted cucumbers to 500+ stockists nationwide!
Join us for the next She Scales event as we meet Kat Goldin and Lucy Pattinson, the brilliant women behind Goat Rodeo Goods, one of Scotland’s coolest and fastest-growing independent food brands.
With backgrounds spanning publishing, photography, business development and private cheffing, Kat and Lucy brought very different skills to the table when their paths crossed in 2023. Together, they launched a farm-to-table events business. But when a local farmer turned up with a mountain of surplus cucumbers, an unexpected business opportunity came knocking!
Inspired by the crunchy American-style pickles Kat missed from home, the pair got creative, making delicious pickles, condiments and seasonings from their farm in Stirlingshire. Their first batches sold out, and Goat Rodeo Goods was born!
Fast forward to today, and since launching in 2024, they've built a standout brand with bold branding, brilliant social content and a growing fan base. With over 500 stockists nationwide, including Dobbies, Oliver Bonas and Anthropologie, they're proving that a little creativity (and a LOT of hard work!) can go a long way. And they're only getting started!
