Katy In The Kitchen is a private dining experience and catering service hosted by Katy Tan, Masterchef UK quarterfinalist 2021 from the comfort of your own home.
Katy's hassle free and full turnkey service runs Scotland wide and includes her traveling to your home or accommodation of choice with all of the required kitchen equipment and crockery. Katy will then cook, serve and clean up post meal, leaving your kitchen the way it was found.
Katy offers a range of menus from canapes to three courses plated and grazing buffets and can also work alongside you to create bespoke menus which cater to your individual requirements and dietaries.

Amazing Hen-do catering!!
Katy catered for 18 of us at my hen do and the food was to die for! *Chef's kiss* She served us delicious canapés followed by a 3 course meal and the food was of such a high qualit that you'd expect you were dining in a fancy restaurant. The service was so professional and everything ran so smoothly. It was an ideal option for us as we were staying in a country house with few restaurants around and we were able to party all night from the comfort of our own place with zero washing up to do- bonus! I highly recommend hiring Katy and will definitely be hiring her again in the future.
Hen do
Katy worked with me to create a 3 course menu plus canapés that our bride would love and that would cater for various dietary requirements. On the night we didn’t need to lift a finger - she turned up with all the equipment she needed, cooked up a delicious meal (I’m still thinking about that beef ragu!), and did all the serving and clearing up. We enjoyed personalised restaurant quality food but in the comfort of the house we were staying in for the weekend, meaning we didn’t need to think about taxis/designated drivers/disrupting other customers with all our hen do chat.
A wonderful experience
I contacted Katy to cater for a group of 12 people at a HAG (joint hen and stage). Katy worked with me to curate the menu to the bride and grooms likes. The food was incredible, everyone still talks about how tasty each dish was and it was certainly the highlight of the weekend. Working with Katy was a dream, she was incredible to work with and I couldn’t rate her services any lower than exceptional.
A wonderfully relaxed and delicious experience!
Katy was amazing in delivering us a deliciously cosy and yummy 3 course sharing dining experience whilst we were on holiday to celebrate my mum and auntie's birthdays. She was really helpful and thoughtful in her suggestions around the menu and planning in advance of the day. Of course all the food was incredible! To top it all off, she was super approachable easy to chat to and cleaned it all up like magic! 100% recommend to all wanting an alternative from the norm!
