Here is a teaser on what you missed at our first late night shopping event.

We opened our doors from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday evening to Edinburgh’s late night shoppers and party people. We celebrated and welcomed new residents, 5th Season Vintage and Sonny Day Studios, and were joined by weekend exclusive pop-ups, The Garbo and Ella Fletcher Designs. While supporting local independent brands, our guests indulged in some retail therapy, live beauty demonstrations, tarot readings and of course delicious canapes and cocktails.

We owe a huge thank you to so many who helped make this night a huge success.

Damiani Fine Dining (@damianifinedinning) dressed our table in the most decadent platters. We can highly recommend them for catering your next event (that is if we haven’t booked them up first). They specialize in modern and luxury Sicilian food and from the looks of it they are dedicated to their craft, making an edible arrangement like no other. The platters resembled a lush spring garden, a gorgeous pairing to the equally indulgent cocktails from Lind and Lime Gin.

Lind and Lime Gin (@lindandlime) did not mix up your typical G&T, instead they served a Gin Gimlet, a perfect balance of sweet and tart with the naturally botanical flavor of their locally distilled gin. They were a strong, and yes, we mean STRONG, edition to the night. The drinks were sour but they sure did make our night oh so sweet. We are excited to tour their Leith based distillery and bar launching in May.

For those who had an early start on Friday we had refreshing non-alcoholic fizz from Nuisance drinks (@nuisancedrinks) with flavors inspired by the British country-side.

Lind and Lime cocktails weren’t the only ones getting to our heads...

Concrete Rose (@concreterosehairdressing) brought their lovely and talented team for complementary hair styling and tutorials. Their team delivers the highest quality work, from product recommendations to styling, we can’t recommend them enough for all your hair needs. Our guests left the event ready to hit the town with bouncy curls, beach waves and up-dos.

After a quick styling, we sent our guests over to The Brow Bar Edinburg(@brow_bar_edinburgh) pop-up, they provided brow waxing, shampooing, and styling. We are excited to announce that she will be joining us every Thursday so, book in for your appointment by messaging her on Instagram.

Jade Mordente (@jademordente) did three-card tarot readings for our guests. Her wonderful energy alone was a great edition to the event. She hosted 1-1 sessions with guests and explained what was in the cards for them, they left feeling empowered and reassured. Jade is also a wellness guide, get in touch for all things crystals, tarot and spiritual.

It wouldn’t be a party without the best beats brought to us by our resident DJ, Miss Mobile Disco (@missmobiledisco) we were so happy to have Emily back to spin live tracks and quite literally be the beating heart of the party.

We must say, with all the spectacular food, drinks, music, pop-ups and beauty pampering, we could have kept going! But, good news, we are welcoming you back for more on Thursday 28th April when we will be joined by Bobbie Brown and a whole host of new resident businesses - pick up your tickets here!

With love, your egg team.
