Overlooking Bruntsfield Links, LeftField is a relaxed neighbourhood bistro serving fresh seafood and locally sourced ingredients. Try the Cumbrae oysters, West Coast Langoustines Shetland mussels or crispy squid with sriracha mayo, lime and coriander to start and then opt for something like the delicious Roast Hake, asparagus, new potato, wild garlic labneh or the chargrilled octopus with romesco and baby potatoes. For the indulgent seafood lovers we’ve got The LeftField Seafood Platter, highly recommended for a taste of all the best bits. All perfectly paired with one of the many organic, minimal intervention wines on the menu.
On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, we focus on small plates of seafood nibbles, fabulous oysters, and lots of wines by the glass to let you try something different.
